Anchor your assets is a company that I had never heard of until late in 2015; I was suffering from many health issues but before that had never had anytype of problems renting as I worked for the US government and have lived in many places all over the United States. Because of my health issues which started in 2014 I had been asked to leave the home that I was renting in Virgina but after working things out with the management company I left with their permission and with nothing owed and transfered to CA. Because of having a UD on my record though I could not qualify to rent in the area of CA where I needed to live, so I found Anchor Your Assets, they told me they could help after hering a little more detailed information than I have described here and at that time the cost was $1497.00 $497 up front and then $1000.00 for them to sign the lease I found an apartment paid all of the fees and move in cost plus the fee for Anchor Your Assets. They told me that the name they would be using on the lease would be Jasper USA and that the responsible person signing the lease was Michael Sherman; well he did sign the lease and I moved in to the apartment and all was great so I thought.

In june of the following year right when the lease was due to be renewed I fell ill again and was taken off of work by my doctor I went to the apartment manager and explained this to them and they told me that they had done some checking because the lease was due to be renewed and they had found that since JASPER USA AND MICHAEL SHERMAN had not paid thier corporate taxes thier company was no longer validin CA and because of that they could not work with me unless I could get them to give the apartment a valid corporate license they would have no choice but to move forward with an eviction, they gave me thirty days to accomblish this. Mind you that I was dealing with doctors appointments and the Social Security office as I needed to apply for my SSDI, I must of called ANCHOR YOUR ASSETS on both the CA number and the NY number at least once to twice per day for that entire month and never ever got a reply or return call, email, letter nothing all they needed to do was to give the apartment a valid license and I could of renewed the lease and stayed where I was but they would not return any of my calls for me to be able to tell them thiss.

Well long story short I had to leave the apartment but because my name was not on the lease I was only listed as an occupent not as the lease holder defendent ANCHOR YOUR ASSETS was which was there own fault. I actually tried calling them again just to see what they would say and sure enough they wanted to cry about thier credit being damaged due to what happened with the apartment BOO h*o h*o!!! if they responded to there customers call they might have avoided this problem, well any way this report is for all of you out there that might need help getting a place as I once did, be careful with this company and if you are in CA do not use them at all, if you are somewhere else remper thier NY address it is on PARK Ave so you can guess what kind of money they are making to be able to afford that address, There's a reason that park ave is on the Monopoly game and I don't even thin that the Trumb Plaza is on Park Ave. BE CAREFUL WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!
