ANACS Coin Grading Service charges Englewood Colorado
ANACS says it charges an order fee of $21. If you submit multiple order forms, they charge per page, not per order, even though they process the orders together as one order. They ship the order back to you as one order. This enables them to pay a single shipping fee. The customer is changed for multiple orders though.
In this case, my"priority" shipping via Fed Ex took over a week. Reason: ANACS didnt package the order properly and the labeling came of
FedEx routed it to their research department to identify the intended recipient. It took several days and multiple phone calls to FedEx to locate the package. Finally, it was forwarded on to me.
I contacted ANACS and described what happened. For all the delay and inconvenience, I sought a partial refund of the shipping charges they didn't pay but passed on to me.
They said they weren't responsible for what other companies do . I reminded him the problem was due to his company's negligence in failing to properly wrap the package.
He held his position with not as much as an apology let lone a partial refund.
How do I know the package wasn't wrapped properly? FedEx forwarded ANACS original box to me . It wasn't large enough to accommodate the inner package and the tape broke loose.
It is generally accepted that ANACS is no higher than third (behind PCGS Nd NGC) place. I learned that ANACS is NOT as reliable as I thought it was.
