It is unfortunate that Andrea/Peggy are using their religion in that way...I am LDS, have been since I was born...and we are not taught that we are above the law. One of our Articles of Faith states "We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, and in obeying, honoring and sustaining the law." I can't imagine any bishop telling her that she doesn't have to pay--that would be dishonest, and honesty is highly stressed in our religion. Personally, I would recommend contacting her Bishop for confirmation and/or help. Good luck!!

I have SERIOUS doubts that the Bishop told you not to pay Ed and the BBB. People like you are totally disgusting, using religion as a crutch, excuse, etc., to mask the fact that you are just GREEDY and a bold-faced liar. It will probably cost Ed to collect what you PROMISED TO PAY more than he will actually collect, but I can certainly see his reasoning. JUST PAY THE BBB what you promised to pay; it will also end up costing YOU more, as they will prevail and you will end up getting socked with costs. I certainly don't think Ed is out for blood, but it must cost him a fortune to do what he does..help people like YOU, and asking for little in return. Please get some morals and ethics, would you please?

The complaints filed here on Amy's Floral are over two years old and in no way are representative to the current owner. Since these complaints were filed back in 2000, the company has been bought twice. I can assure you that the current owner has no interest in participating in any tax-dodging, and certainly has no intention of maliciously underpaying her employees. We keep accurate records of all our payroll and sales, and contribute to state and federal funds according to law. It is unfortunate that any employer would withold money from an employee unlawfully for their own financial gain. I can assure you that this will never happen here at Amy's Floral while under the ownership of Patrice Castaneda and Rachel Conner. Sincerely,
Jon Conner
