Americredit and companies like them are nothing but predatory loan sharks. They claim to be helping people reastablish their credit. I think there is something your missing Mark, and its a company that can't be trusted. They stall you they pressure you and they don't take responsibility for their actions Mark all you have to do is read on and you will see just how upset and fustrated people are with the underhanded tactics of Americredit When this company can't account for their own paper work and file it under someone else's accounts or worst, how can anyone trust doing business with them Worst of all they are in violation of civil laws and it is on the record. Employees in their own company have been breaking the law The employees Americredit pays to harass customers who fall behind in their payments are breaking the law by harassing customers at their place of employment when they are asked not to Also when you try to intimidate a customer with threats and tell them getting Attorney's will only make things worst is unprofessional and civil courts handle those cases. Also there will be an investigation sooner or later into the practices of reporting to credit bureaus which it appears there are many consumer complaints against Americredit and companies like them. So Mark you can defend them all you want but the day may come when you hook up with the wrong company and they are sticking it too you, maybe you won't be so sure of yourself then! You see Mark in the real world people have real problems which affect the way they can purchase cars or homes. This then becomes the feeding ground for these predatory companies like Americredit! Hope it never happens to you!

I am confused. What violation is our company supposed to have committed? You are upset because your car got repo'd. You are upset because the interest was high. You are further upset because the sheriff's auction did not settle the debt completely. You are upset because the debt was reported accurately and legally as a chargeoff. You are further upset because an agency called you regarding this debt. What would your ideal situation be? You can no longer afford the car, they come and get it and you're even? This would be nice, but cannot be done in a situation like this. The company did not violate any laws, so I would like you to clarify a little bit.
