Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Like the other thousands of clients of American Residential Law Group, they took our upfront $3,350 with promise to help negotiate the process of either a short sale, deed in lieu, or foreclosure.  They did none of that!  They took the money and then were not available by phone by mail by email for guidance.  We had an ALL CASH offer on our property that was delayed by MONTHS due to American Residentials non-response.  We did know what to do or who to contact at our mortgage company.  American Residential Law Group promised to handle of that but did nothing.  After over a hundred phone calls and emails, we received a letter that they were no longer able to represent us and to call another attorney which they gave us a number.  We were never ever  able to speak to the attorney nor did that attorney EVER return our call.

They never promised us an outcome but promised us service which they did not perform, we want our money back.  In people's most desperate times, they ripped us off!  I'd love to be a part of a class action suit against this firm.  Please stay away from this firm!

ARLG Scam

#2Consumer Suggestion

Sat, December 03, 2011

Many of ARLG's clients were passed on to Summit Legal Group.  Did this happen to you?  If you have not already done so, file a complaint with the Connecticut Banking Commission.  Call Marcelle Groves at 860-240-8109 for information.  If you want to interface with other victims of Summit Legal, leave email contact information and someone will let you know what is going on.  ARLG was shut down in early 2011, but the scammers there may reemerge.  Be very careful.
