American Honda Finance Corp Repo'd car without even trying to work with me, Internet
I purchased my Honda CRV on Dec 31st 2009. In October of 2010 I lost my job but I was making payments - albeit sometimes late, they were being made. Honda began calling me incessantly (sixteen times in one week alone!) and would not work with me by refinancing the car or moving payments to the end of my scheduke so that I could catch up.
I re-entered school for retraining and was waiting for my loan to come in so I could use m licing expense portion to get up to date but the car was repo'd. To make matters worse they took it more than an hour way and expected me to be able to get to it to collect my belongings.
I received no paperwork that the car had been repo'd and so I cannot cancel my insurance. Now I have to get a ride to the DMV to get that resolved. To add insult to injury, I was told that they would "sell the car at auction and i would still owe them the rest of the loan. WHy they wouldn;t work with me rather than do this I have no idea! Prior to this I had been a proud owner of other Honda's and I loved them all but after this experience I will no longer purchase a Honda EVER again.

Every company will do this when you are hopelessly behind.
Boycotting Honda won't help at all.
They are living up to the terms of the contract you signed...did you?
