Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
This company jacked me on my long-distance phone bill AND sent me a bill for their "services"...which I never requested. Somehow their auto-dial software got 'automagically' installed on my machine...without my knowledge OR consent...probably via one of the numerous pop-ups I get every time I log on.

After hours on the phone with BellSouth, I finally got the charges removed. When I received the bill from Aylon Technologies (a company I'd never heard from), I called them and was told to send a letter detailing my dispute of the charges, which I did. Weeks later, I recieved yet ANOTHER bill from the company, which I ignored then was consequently called by a BILL COLLECTOR telling me that if I didn't pay, it would go on my credit report. She said if I had a dispute to write a letter and have it NOTORIZED and sent it to the company. BULLSHIT!! I am NOT paying this bill, NOR am I wasting my time writing yet another letter and paying to get it NOTORIZED!!!!!

Alyon Technologies little dirty tricks

#2Consumer Suggestion

Wed, October 22, 2003

This comment is to Susan and all of the innocent victims that have fallen prey to Alyon Technologies little dirty tricks. Everyone of you have to file complaints to the Attorney general in your state, the fbi, ftc, consumer protection and as many law enforcement as possible.

This is the only way you will be able to protect yourselves against this weasels. First start by writing a formal complaint to the attorney general in your state-send him or her copies of your paperwork (keep a copy of the letter that you write to the attorney general)

Send Alyon Technologies a copy of the complaint that you have submitted to the attorney general of your state along with a letter addressed to Alyon Technologies making clear that you are deadly serious in making your formal complaint to as many law enforcement agencies as possible.

Write a letter to your state representative as well. Trust me, it will work. I know its a lot of work but is either this or letting this scum bags get away with victimizing you and their continue harrassment. If you are receiving or your account has been turned over to a collection agencies also send them a copy of the complaint that you made with the attorney general and report them too.

This is for all the people that have been victimized by Alyon, the problem is not going to go away by ignoring it. You have to file complaints with the attorney general in your state as well as fbi, ftc, comsumer protection. Don't pay them a single red cent because it will only make matters worst.

It will not resolved your problem in the slightest bit, if you pay their (censored)bill then you would have fallen prey to an ongoing (censored)of receiving more and more bills from this (censored)company.

Phone Company is probably in on it

This 'dialer' stuff is horrible. Just a few years ago I ended up with a phone bill with $900 worth of 'calls' to 'madagascar.' I called the phone company to find out why, I was especially interested because I did not have a long distance carrier, it was impossible to dial long distance on my phone without either a phone card or using one of those 10-10 codes...neither was the case.

I told the phone company that this was impossible, the 'calls' were taking place while I was at work and noone was home...on top of that one can't make long distance calls from my home phone. Apparently these 'calls' to madagascar were actually porn of some sort that was doing almost hourly downloads to my computer...at $9 per minute. These long distance calls were being routed through because the porn people had some sort of deal with the phone company! Can you believe that!?!?!? The phone company (AT&T) was actually in business with these guys to make money...selling porn...and you can't do a darn thing about it.

After a few days of complaining and threatening to sue (it helps that I work for a bunch of lawyers) the charges were dropped. Turns out that all it takes is one unsupervised teenager on the computer for a matter of minutes to cause days worth of headache.

Yes, this stuff can install without your 'OK' and it can even install or download when you simply close the window or move your mouse over it. AVOID PORN SITES AT ALL COSTS, THEY ARE PARASITES.

Alyon Tech still at it - continuing collection notices

Am still receiving collection notices for this stupid company. I received one letter from a lawyer, which I ignored. Then I received a message from one Adam Kelly and a subsequent collection notice from Merchant's Credit Guide Co. signed by the same Mr. Kelly. This is ridiculous...we are going on more than 7 months since I recieved the first "bill" from these people. There doesn't seem to be much I can do other than inform him that I do not intend to pay this bill. (This is of course assuming that Merchant's Credit Guide Co. is a legitimate collection agency. If they ARE legit, they should be ashamed to be associated with this company.)

I to was searching the web because I am a games and software person.I have several windows open but the sound turned down on my computer. I have never heard of this company and do not partipate in Adult! sites. this had to happens from a popup ad which I ignore most or close them out. This one was hard to close out and the next thing I knew it was dialing so I just cut my computer off to stop it! When I came back online I searched for that spyware and deleted it from my computer.

The next thing I knew I was getting a bill for $95.00 for 20 mins. of viewing a video! which never took place. I have tried to contact these people on the phone but it keeps sending me back online.

I emailed them and they tell me the same thing about getting an affadavit signed and all that junk! I am not doing anything nor am I paying for anything, that I have no interest in whatsoever. Since then I have installed zonealarm to help protect myself from such trash. These people are really a sick joke of a rip off!
