Do not rent from 1187 winton ave,
this landlord is nosey, goes in your room when you are not there, asks a bunch of questions, drinks and smokes and if you dont really mingle with him he can get out of hand. Nort only that he puts his ads up on craigslist and says that he has a laundry facility onsite but only has a working washing machine. the dryer has been broken for months and he will not fix it. He is an old veteran of the militsrywho does not do what he says he will do. I moved in about a couple on months ago becasue I did not have much money so I had to settle for this place which in the beginning it was fine, came out met him with my bf and everything seemed to be okay. I was wonrking 2 jobs at the time and rent was always and to this day paid ontime. He kept saying that he was gonna fix the dryer but did nothing. He was very friendly at first but then as my bf started to come around he would try to not say things around him and be sneaky about things, then I was going through a custody battle with my kids and I was really trying to get them back but he told me that I would not be able to let my youngest stay there but he had another house that I could use, he forged some paperwork and was ready to help in any Soay that he could for me. He was even trying to help me get my lights cut on down at georgia power but that did not work out so I inevidently win that battle which did not bother me becasue I was really struggling.
Then a month later this lady moves in and she has 2 kids so all of a sudden I can no longer haave my bf over at night becasue it doesnt look good. He moves out and still comes to spend time periodically. He puts a note on my door telling me that I am trying to run his house and that if I can't follow rules I have to leave. So I say fine no problem. The bathrooms are never clean the shower is always filthy and he expected me to clean up behind him I was like err yeah right. This is just not the place to stay find another rooming house that is more professional. The rent was due on saturday and he kept starting fights with me about paying on firday and then when I did pay early he would be gone and you would not see him nor would he fix anything. Just find somewhere else to go. He c harges 125 for rent but he also wants a deposit which is not a big deal but like I said its not worth the money or the stress
