Allied Van Lines never delivered the goods
Allied Van picked up my goods in Norman, OK on July 17, 2000. Estimated delivery to Erie, PA was July 30,2000. I call and find out that on July 30 my things were still in OK b/c my goods got bumped b/c previous family wanted a car moved so my goods could not be shared with their things. They setup next date of Aug 5.
I call Aug 5 and they give me the same run around that the truck is overloaded. I have been paying rent on my apartment since July 21.
I try to claim with Allied for compensation and they say since my shipment is below ~3500 lbs, they refuse to do anything to help me. Which tells me they don't care about their smaller customers. This is costing me a lot of time and money. I refuse to ever use Allied Van ever again.
My family will be moving to another house in 6 months and will not use them unless they attempt to compensate me for my wasted time.
