Complaint Review: All My Sons Moving & Storage Movers 10210 Werch Dr Woodridge IL 60517 - Woodridge Illinois

Well, here is ANOTHER POOR REVIEW of All My Sons...Move date 03/22/18-Thursday:  

I used All My Sons in 2014 & had very little problems...HOWEVER...just recently used them & my experience is one of disgust!

When I contacted All My Sons, I advised I had disabilities & was not finished packing as well as needing help.  I advised MANY containers/boxes...heaviest item a dresser.

All My Sons showed up at 7:48 a.m., 3 guys & a cannabis cloud following them.  Right there I had questionable feelings as what "Professional" Crew shows up to a move, ill prepared with no boxing materials along with the inability/unwilingness to assist & in a cannabis cloud?  I was advised by Manny no one advised them they needed packing materials, but they had 6 wardrobe boxes/tape...approx. 11:01 they departed (3 hrs loading) & I left shortly there after.  They left items behind...the whole point for assistance is I was not supposed to lift heavy items due to medical but was then left with no choice as I did not have any assistance except my 9 yr. old child to help (whole point for advising "Matt" of this).

At new place, now 11:35 a.m., NO SIGN OF All My Sons & hoping our items did not get jacked...eventually we saw truck pass our turn & then apparently had to turn around...waiting...waiting...waiting...I was advised by Manny they have to drink sometime (mind you a "Professional" Crew would have come prepared with drinks in a.m. due to being "Professional").

Anyway...I contacted the Company while they were still sitting in truck not doing any thing...JUST SITTING...only a 1/2 hr was taken off for their excursion, but it appears more hours were tacked on.  I also advised of the cannabis cloud & all 3 should be tested immediately.  

Effects of cannabis are tiredness...hmmm...no wonder dropping occurred!  Do we need to go into more ill effects of cannabis...ie altered senses, altered sense of time, changes in mood, impaired body movements, difficulty thinking & problem solving, impaired memory & others.

4 of these boxes were labeled glass-handle with care with a red hand on them-THREE WERE DROPPED after talking to All My Sons-Matt.  The 1st box dropped by Manny I opened in front of him (occurring after conv. w/Matt) which had broken glasses in it & I advised him that he dropped this box having a clear label on it & was told by him I should have packed it better...WHAT "PROFESSIONAL" RESPONDS LIKE THAT???  Must be that CANNABIS CLOUD...also found the back of my chair torn out...THANKS All My Sons FOR BEING REALLY CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR "PROFESSIONAL" CREW & NOT MY ITEMS, THE CANNABIS CLOUD, INAPPROPRIATE CHARGING & helping someone with disabilites!!!

The 2 other boxes dropped also resulted in broken items, an old candle holder, glass bowls along with Rachel Ray bowls.  The 4th container not dropped had no broken items, go figure & all packed the same.  

They charged $1027.50 which started when they arrived at new place & when I asked for change was told by Manny they have no change.  THEY STARTED AT 7:48 A.M. IN A CANNABIS CLOUD OR WHAT APPEARED TO BE, LEFT FOR NEW PLACE AT APPROX. 11:01 A.M., 3 HRS X $139.00=$417.00 X 2=$834.00 BUT CHARGED $1027.50, with a $100.00 deposit=$1127.50 an overage of approx. $293.50 + .50=$294.00 as Manny had no change...how fair is this???

But "Matt" advised he took off the half hr...yeah right...WHERE???

We (child & I) did not get done moving some of what ALL MY SONS left behind until 3 a.m. Friday 03/23/18, & not fully done until 4:09 p.m., I was already in severe pain all over body, felt EXTREMELY BETRAYED by All My Sons due to multiple mentioned factors...The Sales Staff was lacking & did not relay boxing materials were needed to a "Professional" crew as both Matt & Manny claimed...THIS WAS JUST PLAIN OUTRIGHT WRONG!!!

Matt spoke so "highly" (no pun intended I guess) of this "Professional" crew...who were FAR from professional!!!  I did end up making another call to "Matt" & I feel they just look out for their own, not the client!!!

I SO AGREE with Terry T., 03/07/18, on YELP, "Moving is never a pleasant experience but this company made a difficult situation into a nightmare." 

In my case I was already in a nightmare being retaliated against by current owner with non-renewal after filing a complaint with IL Dept of Human Rights due to disabilities, so what comes after nightmare???

I DO BELIEVE IT IS TIME FOR BBB INVOLVEMENT SO EVERYONE SHOULD CONTACT THEM WITH THEIR EXPERIENCES!!!

After this, I read where All My Sons hires movers straight out of drug rehab...some have claimed lack of work (wonder why?)...
