I had a reservation at this hotel for 3/23/2005. I was suppose to arrive at Puerto Rico at 11:45 p.m.Continental Airline flight #1656 had alot of trouble getting of the ground. The pilots shows-up 2 HOURS late, then the plane had to be de-ice because it was snowing . The flight was suppose to take off at 6:55p.m. but did not take off until 12:30a.m.on the 3/24/2005.

I finally arrive at P.R. at 05:00a.m. BY THE TIME I pick up the luggage it was 05:45 a.m. I had a car reserve with Alamo Car rental Company for 07:00 a.m. so I went to the hotel an explain them the situation.

The front desk clerk told me that since my reservation was back up by a credit card I will be charge for the night. I WAS NOT ABLE TO CALL AND CANCELLED BECAUSE I WAS IN THE PLANE FROM 3/23/2005 6:20P.M. THAT WE BOARD THE PLANE UNTIL 05:00A.M. 3/24/2005

This hotel is a business and has a set of guidelines for you to follow. It is not their fault you were stuck in the plane. You made a reservation and they did nothing you did not accept during booking. IMO you should have asked for compensation from Continental since THEY were the ones responsible for your lodging troubles.
