I have been buying food from this junk of a place the last two weeks and I haven't been able to sleep at all. It seems that they are altering my food and provoking a very severe case of chronic insomnia. I have only slept very few hours in the last two weeks. I have suffered various food intoxications from the fine food cuisine that they have on the Store. At one point I ended up on the Emergency Room from some food I ate that a french chef had prepared. It seems that the food had ephedra, it made me shoke and it increased my heart rate dramatically, eventually I had to puke all the food.

It seems to me that it is some kind of hate crime that has been going on. I will report this incident with the FDA and with the local and state health and Sanitation Departments. This can't continue to happen to anyone. This type of actions should be punished severely.

Go and make soup to Hawaii you bunch of wannabes!

I think you may be right, Jennifer, if you check the first general page of the recent reports, Pedro also thinks Chrysler/Jeep is poisoning him with lethal gas emmissions. Just an observation.

I am a little confused about your whole report. First, a hate crime, I dont think so? The company to which you have written about seemed to be the biggest and most awarded name in Gourmet and Fine Foods from Europe. If you dont like European foods or cant digest them, then why go there in the first place? Then you went on with you needing to go to the hospital because of a rapid heart rate; choking and eventually having to vomit because the food you ate had Ephedra in it. Something isnt right, you would not have choked from Ephedra. You are also claiming that their food has caused you Insomnia for two weeks and you have eaten there for two weeks. OK, let me break down why Im confused about your whole story. A restaurant, fine foods, whatever may have used Ephedra as an herb, but by law could only have used it if given permission by the party (you) or notifying those eating their food with a displayed sign. From what I hard of this place, there is no sign and they do not use Ephedra. Next, Insomnia, Heart palpitations and upper gastrointestinal effects have only been seen in cases where someone has been a user of the herb for some time and used another stimulant with it. You can check that out yourself in the latest Ephedra posting by the FDA on February of 2003 at www.fda.gov. I think that maybe youve been taking something like Stacker 2 and then drank some coffee, as caffeine is a good source for a stimulant. Maybe you werent feeling good and took some over the counter medication with pseudoephedrine in it, that can be found in almost any cold medication. You could have even taken something with Salicin or Chromium in it, you dont know. My main reason of confusion and disbelief is simply because you said youve been going there for two weeks and have suffered from insomnia and been sick during this time. If this was true, why ion the hell would you go back? It just doesnt make any sense. The entire posting about this place is nothing but good, They have a general rating of 8.8 out of 10 and have won numerous awards for their foods and displays. Im just finding this one hard to swallow. If this is true, I would suggest you stop going there permanently.

I mean this in the most polite way possible... I suggest that you immediately pay a visit to your doctor, tell him that you suspect that a food company is slipping drugs into your food to cause insomnia and that you want to know what he can do about it. When the men in the white suits come for you, please don't fret, they will help you sleep. I promise you. In all seriousness, the content of the post that you have written here today shows signs of acute paranoia and schitzophrenia. I seriously suggest that you seek help.
