My company was contacted to supply stagehand labor for the Leather & Laces show, being held during the week of Super Bowl 52, in Minneapolis, MN. William Ekeroth and Phillipe Tanguay are who we dealt with.  They needed around 20 Stagehands, which was a tall order, less than one week away from Super Bowl 52.  We were able to pull a crew together, but they were not responding to our repeated requests for a signed contract and a down payment.  We finally told them if we didn't get the contract and check - there would be no crew.  That got them moving.  They racked up some extra overtime on the load out, which was reflected in the final invoice.  After going back and forth, they agreed to pay, but the money never showed up.  Months of repeated calls/texts/emails did nothing, so we hired a debt collection service to chase them down.  That also produced no results.  We sent an email on Nov. 29th to let them know we would be taking to social media to let everyone know about their refusal to pay their bills.  They called us, and ended up telling us that they could get the money in a day or so...  That was a song and dance I'd heard too many times.  I gave them until 5pm to pay by credit card - which they refused.

We also contacted Deep South Productions, who was hired by Ekeroth as the production company.  According to them, William owed them a large amount of money as well.  We were also told that he stiffed the caterers, as well as other local vendors involved in the event.  This guy belongs in jail and I hope that by spreading the word, he will lose his clients and get exposed for the fraud that he is.  We have been working hard to spread this word on social media and have received a great response so far.  Beware Atlanta, he's coming at you next, for SBLIII.

We have a signed contract and a down payment, which we had to work very hard to get, plus a long email chain to prove everything.
