I check online for a part and it shows $6.51 and says I can pick up part at my local store. I try to use my Advance Auto Parts gift card buy it does not let me pay with the gift card, only option is to use a credit card. Since I already have a gift card I decide to go to the store to purchase the item, but when I get there the price is no longer $6.51 but now is $8.69, over 25% HIGHER. The manager says he cannot sell it for the lower price even though he sees it online for that price and it says it is available at his location.
So it seems that Advance Auto Parts thinks a good way to develop a good customer relationship is to screw them around by offering different prices on the website and their stores. I buy a lot of parts and auto supplies and I have many other places to purchase them. I WILL NOT BE DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN!

Your ignorance of reality is TRULY astounding. Online and brick and mortar stores are TWO DIFFERENT THINGS! Online can offer you a cheaper price since there is less overhead versus a brick and mortar store. This means that the prices ARE going to be more expensive IN THE STORE! Firstly, YOU have NOT been ripped off. YOU are whining because the STORE wouldnt give YOU the online price. THEY DONT HAVE TO! If YOU are so cheap and sleezy that YOU THINK that you can force them to give you your way, then YOU are the problem. YOU HAVE NOT BEEN RIPPED OFF AND ARE ONLY SHOWING HOW SLEEZY YOU ARE! YOUR self entitlment is SICKENING! Personally I hope that this company that YOU are intentionally defaming choses to sue YOU for what amounts to nothing but a big fat lie! Maybe being held accountable for YOUR lack of knowledge is just what its going to take to teach YOU that YOU do NOT have the right to blame someone WITHOUT PROOF and then post it on a public forum.
