I signed a one-year contract with aarons manager because I wanted a better deal on the furniture that I was buying. write the same month as my contract was up my apartment caught fire and I lost everything in the fire Aarons replaced all my furniture for me and at that point I was told I had two months worth of payments left I made 1 month payment and spoke with an associate at Aarons and they check my contract and found that my contract was over I don't know what the manager did there to replace my furniture since it was covered under the contract but shortly thereafter and started calling me and telling me that I owed them $3,000 I no longer have the contract in my possession because it burned in the fire after spending several days on the phone with their collections department I thought that the matter had been handled but just today checking my credit report and my credit score which is going down 150 points because of an outstanding balance of $3,700 with Aarons a balance that I should not have I feel whatever happened to this aarons is considered fraud and they're ripping me off in some manner I have not received any collection paperwork or anything else from Aarons regarding this matter it yet it is on my credit report I'm going to go down there tomorrow and speak with the manager and ask for a copy of my contract and why this is happened but more than likely it'll be a bunch of crap just like it was like that with this last year
