Okay this is how it goes!! Last year after my house burned down I needed a washer and dryer, so I went to arrons to get them. They charged me 1400 for the pair that I could have gotten at Lowes for 500 (set). At that time I didnt care, I needed the set as I had kids and we all needed clean clothes!!

Well they said that as long as the payments were in relitivly on time that there would be no worries. So around my hubbies birthday (4 months later) I bought him the 62 inch plazma that he wanted soooo bad. That made my payments to them go up to 193 a month at the time we were both working and could afford it.

In the middle of May we ran into a little problem with my check and couldnt meet the payment untill the following week so my bff (who was living with me at the time) gave them the payment using her credit card. So in July everything was supposed to be okay, I was back on track with my checks and had everything going great. I had to go to NY for a funeral and decided to hold off on paying Aarons till I got back as a percaution. It would be payed a week late at most and I called them.

Well on day 5 of my stay in NY my bff called me and said that there was money missing from her acct. and Aarons took it out w/o permission. I called them and asked why they did that and their answer was that the credit card was on file for reacurring payments and that they were simply doing thier job!! So I called thier DM and asked him if this was fair practice on thier part. He assurred me that it was an error on my stores part and that as soon as I made my payment to replace it that her money would go back on the card.

So I made the payment and A WEEK AND A HALF LATER she got her money back. Never mind the fact that her car payment and grocery money was what they took, they ruined my friendship with her to a pt.

Now I get a call today from her and she says once again that Aarons took MORE money out of her acct. ( her cc # was not supposed to be on file and mine was.) Afterwhat had happened last time it was plain to see that they do this out of habit. I called them up and DEMANDED her money be returned to her card and that BOTH of our card numbers be removed as that was the last payment and that I would be in to make it in person!! They said no ma'am we took the money out of your card and it will not be refunded. Well they were wrong as I read them the last four of my card # they said no we used the card ending in.... I told them it wasnt my card and that the money was to go back TODAY!! They said ok... as long as you make the payment in place of it!!

I said last payments have to be made in person!! (thier rule as you have to sign ppr work) They said nope that they wanted thier money NOW! So I gave in and let them make one last transaction. This is a big problem and a privacy issue!!

On another note they called my momma looking for me that same week and told her that my acct. was past due and that they were going to SUE me for the products!! If she didnt make the payment it would go on her credit as well as hurt mine!! She was not too thrilled at that idea one bit!! She said that she would call me first and call them back!! She called me and told me what was up and I called the and asked them what the Hell were they doing calling and threatening my momma for?? They simply said, "well it got ur attention didnt it??" those weasels!! That time i was a day off and I had called them the week before to say that my paycheck was going to be in on the 16 instead of the 15th!! this is crazy!! I am also filing a com[plaint with BBB!!

kzaccardivpasst is full of crap!!!! It is TOTALLY Arrons policy to keep on file your bank acct number, bank card number, credit card number, and if you are 5 mins late on a payment, they will gladly go right past you and take it without your permission!! Ive been down that road with these criminal loan sharks!!! They need to be shut down!!!!

Aaron's offers several programs to their customers to help them own the merchandise the lease from us. If this customer had kept in contact with the store and followed through with arrangements there would not be phones calls to references in an effort to contact the customer. There is no evidence of any associates disclosing any information to anyone other then the customer her herself about the actions taken on the account. Also there is no policy in which a customer must come in the store to make the last payment. This customer is currently paid out and has no further issues with the store. However if there are any they may be addressed via the Divisional Office at 704-845-5064. Below is a statement from the General Manager of the store. Kay Zaccardi Divisional VP Assistant The Carolinas Div When we were at the house the customer told us to run the credit card on 1-30. On 1-30 there were 2 different credit cards on file the she uses so we ran one credit card. The next day the customer called and said we ran the wrong card, so that same day were refunded one credit card and ran the other. She is now a paid out customer.
