DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID - go somewhere else for transmission work. i have had problems since day one.

my car ran fine for 5 years till the tranmy went out - now i own 3500 pounds of scrap metal.

forget about small claims court - they bring their attorney who is probably on their payroll and is used quite often. i will also bet that he is the life of the AAMCO christmas party.

they will hide behind their small warranty print, and if an "issue" does come up, will look for ANYTHING to get out of a legitimate claim.

they told me in court that their faulty transmission work that led to the destruction of my motor, wasnt their problem - they only cover the tranny. i would like to cut down a tree in their backyard someday. when it falls on their house, i will tell them i only cover the tree and the house is their problem.

(front wheel drive car) - when they installed my steering wheel on crooked in my car, and i returned to ask them to straighten it, they told me i was being unreasonable.

as i calmly tried to work out my problems with them regarding their shoddy work, they told the judge their small pittance of a refund was offered to me to "shut me up." nice people eh? when did asking for a "job-well-done" become unreasonable?

**RED FLAG** our local better business bureau can not get them to respond to their basic inquiries!! i know of local one-man businesses who are BBB members!! think about it - here is a NATIONAL FRANCHISE that is not a member!! gee - do you think they are trying to hide something? maybe - alot of CLAIMS?!!

what i find ammusing is that a car can go for 150,000 miles without a problem till the tranny goes out. suddenly the tranny is rebuilt and lasts what - a day, a year, two years, MAYBE more? why doesnt a rebuilt tranny last another 150,000 miles? because this business is a joke - that is why.

save yourself alot of grief - go somewhere else, or better yet, get a different car.
