A little lengthy but worth the read, please:

If you think you are too smart to be scammed (like I did)...think again. One of A & A's salesmen, Bill Elliot, came into my store and gave me a great deal on Xenex Merchant Services. He told me I had to rent the card machine for $100/month to get the rates and use the service; but I would more than make it up in the $200 of savings (as he proved in his calculations). I read everything that I signed, made copies, & checked the numbers. He insisted over and over again: there were no obligations, hidden fees, ect.

When I got my first month's statement, to my surprise, I paid $100 MORE for the service on top of the $100 rent for the machine for a whopping savings of -$200 over my old processor (yes, that's a negative). Everything Bill and Robert told me was ALL LIES, and I mean everything! When I tried to cancel, I recieved a copy of a 4-year "non-cancelable" lease contract in the mail from a company I've never heard of with my signature on it! I HAD NEVER SEEN THAT DOCUMENT BEFORE IN MY LIFE! I made copies of what I signed that day... It's not there. I don't know what kind of majic trick he pulled to get my signature (If I even signed it at all). Later on, I got copies of the merchant agreement I know I signed (and had copies of); IT DID NOT MATCH THE COPY I MADE WHEN I SIGNED IT, fees were added and numbers changed.

According to my research since then, I've realized I was the victim of a NATIONWIDE SCAM backed up by Lease Finance Group and similar leasing companies. Basically, they get these "fly-by-night" vendor companies, like A & A, to get signatures on these outrageous "non-cancelable" lease contracts BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY. The vendor gets a nice cut, and the lease company absolves themselves of any responsibility for the equipment or "misrepresentations" by the vendor. Although clever, It's the most rediculous contract I've ever read in my life... even my lawyer laughed.

Make no mistake, the scam is all about getting your signature on the lease contract; everything else is just "smoke & mirrors". The leasing companies only want the full value of the lease, nothing less, and they'll stop at nothing to get it. They dismiss and deny any responsibility of lies, fraud, or forgeries. "Your name is on it, it's signed, pay-up" Just read some horror stories online.

What can you do? Going after the vedor (A & A) is like chasing a rainbow, you'll get nowhere, just expose them and notify the FTC and BBB. In reguards to the leasing company, the problem is (and they know this): if you take them to court, even with proof of fraud, it may cost you more than if you were to just pay the lease. Stop payment and notify the credit agencies that you are filing a dispute with the lease company. (I'm paying the lawer instead of giving them another dime!)

In conclusion, I was scammed by A & A Processing, it's owner Robert Derthick, Salesman Bill Elliot and Lease Finance Group. They keep scamming because it's profitable and they usually get away with it. I, personally, have embarked on a campaign to expose A & A, Robert, and the gang. No one works hard for thier money to have it taken by vultures like this. I could use some help out there.

Robert Derthick & A & A Processing are NOT Rip-off artists!!!

First of all, A & A Processing's employee's name is Brian Elliott (not Bill Elliott). I truly am tired of defending my reputation to customers who have buyer's remorse. I have been in business for over 8 years and have thousands of satisfied customers!!! In response to your allegations of -$200.00, let me provide you with a scenario: Savings projected are based on the merchant's statement at the time of the appointment. For example, if a merchant is doing $10,000 worth of business in a month -- and his fees are for example $100 (a certain percentage x the amount of sales) -- my company can lower his fees to below that $100 by offering a lower percentage rate thereby decreasing their processing fees. But, if a merchant makes $20,000 the following month -- it only makes sense that his processing fees will be higher -- of course they will -- that merchant doubled his income. This is where a merchant gets upset stating it cost him more -- well -- you made twice as much money!!! In addition, different types of cards such as corporate cards or manual vs swiped entry plays a very large factor in this formula. In other words, no 2 statements are exactly alike even if they are the same dollar amount. In response to the fact that you did not sign a lease, A & A Processing and Robert Derthick would be happy to pay for a handwriting expert of your choice to prove that the lease you signed is valid and that it is your signature. At no time were you ever "forced" to sign a lease. As far as the lease being ridiculous -- weren't you taught to read things before you sign them!!! In closing, you were not scammed by my salesman or my company and before you claim fraud and destroy my reputation prove it!!!
