I ordered a laptop through compusa.com. The laptop was a ASUS A53SDTS72 which came with a $75 rebate if you recycle your old laptop.

The paperwork for the rebate required an email confirmation that the laptop was recieved, the UPC of the new laptop, and a form filled out.

About 2 weeks after recieving my new laptop, I did the paperwork for the rebate and mailed off my old laptop and they said to wait to get the email confirmation before sending out the paperwork to recieve the rebate. It took 3 weeks for the email confirmation to get back. The same day I recieved the email, I sent it all off to process. Today (June 13, 2012) I get an email saying that because it has been more than 30 days since I placed the order to the day I sent it off, they are denying my rebate.

I called up and explained to them what happened and they really didnt care. They said it was out of the 30 calendar day window from the day I ordered the new laptop. There would have been no way possible to get this done within their time frame and now Im without my old laptop and without a $75 rebate.

Company also says they will call you back but they never do.
