I have had nothing but problems with 4myrebate.com which processes rebates for Tigerdirect.com online orders. I had placed a rather large order on 5/25 for a lot of hardware to build a brand new computer. Many of the items I ordered had rebates on them. One of the items (A Western Digital hard drive) had a $20 rebate clearly posted as a valid rebate on 5/25 when I ordered the items and shows it as available on my invoice on Tigerdirect as well. However, whenever I put in the rebate code for this item - 4myrebate.com is showing this rebate as not a valid rebate and will not let me get the paperwork I need to submit this rebate. I called Tigerdirect and spoke with Danny who assured me that yes my rebate is valid and looked into it further and told me he's "Never Seen Anything like this before" and that 4myrebate.com had some sort of incorrect dates and information and were totally screwed up. He was going to check into it and get back to me, this was 2 days ago and I have not heard back. I emailed 4myrebate.com and they told me the rebate was only valid for 1 day (5/27) and that I can't get it (also incorrect) and refused to process my order unless I called them. I called and spoke with a lady on 6/13 and she took all of my information and told me she would email me the form and that it was valid and I could get the rebate no problem. No emails received. Called back around an hour later and spoke with another lady who told me I cannot have the rebate because I did not purchase on the correct date (opposite of what the first lady told me) and she also told me that the first lady should have given me a rebate tracking number (she didn't) so the 2nd lady had to enter all of my information again and told me my rebate would most likely be denied if I sent it in. She told me to fill out Tigerdirect's "Rebate Assurance" form on the website so they would take care of the issue (She told me that Tigerdirect was the one that was incorrect in this case). I filled out the form and am now waiting for a response.

4myrebate.com and Tigerdirect need to stop pointing the fingers at one another and stop playing the blame game and stop trying to break the law and fulfill the rebates that were PROMISED on their website. This is nothing but a scam to try to cheat people out of money and I refuse to buy another product from Tigerdirect that has a rebate attached.

I will be contacting the Attorney General for both Wisconsin and Illinois about this and also filing a lawsuit if Tigerdirect and 4myrebate.com do not fulfill my rebate, as that would be illegal.

First of all "Tim" I am a FEMALE, obviously this small detail seems to escape you as well as the fact that a LOT of people have been scammed by Tigerdirect's horrible rebate service. Sometimes it's NOT about the money involved when you sue a company for doing something that is illegal and unethical, it's about proving a point. I know it's a hard concept for someone of your low mental capacity to understand, but If you want me to draw you a picture with crayon I can do that.

Hey guy, have you checked into the amount of time and money it takes to file a lawsuit?  HINT:  It's more than $20.

Yes, they are definitely a scam company. I just got burned by them. You send in all the required information, and then they decline you, saying you're missing this-or-that. But, when you look at their website, it shows that it Was sent in. They are hoping you just forget about it, thinking that it's too much of a hassle, just like it was to even submit the rebate, in the first place. All across the Internet you will find a Huge number of people that were scammed by this company...all claiming the same thing...that they can see the documentation the company is claiming they never received. 4myrebates.com actively does everything they can to not show their name or anything on the affiliated websites, you can easily see that they went to great lengths to mask their identity.

They appear to be hiding behind the brand recognition of the company they are serving, and attempt to make it look like it is THEIR fault. They do this, very intentionally. The company dba in Florida and in Texas, under aliases, has a whopping 140 complaints with the Better Business Bureau, and that is just the small number of people who actually took the time to report it. But, all-across-the-internet, you can see the same thing, that people sent in the required documentation, and they were still denied. The company is fraudulent. They are SO fraudulent, that they have to use P.O. Boxes, and change their identity every so often. I mean, WHO DOES THAT?

Someone from your corporate office tried to call me - didn't bother leaving a message. I called the number back and the phone rang and rang and rang for 10 min straight. Tried it again a bit later, SAME THING. How stupidly lame. I tried the other selection on your initial phone message and reached the Florida store in the Mall of the Americas and they instantly (without permission) dumped me into a 20 min hold!  I never did get to speak to a manager there either. Finally, after you wasted my ENTIRE lunch time (thanks you jerks, you owe me a lunch now) I got a hold of a manger at your corporate office who promised me they would honor the rebate and pay it if your incredibly LAME 4myrebate does not pay. It should NOT take HOURS of phone time (which it has so far) to get this rebate straightened out, and I'm not positive that is actually is straightened out yet. We will see once I have money in-hand. Lets put it this way, if I do not see that rebate money from TigerDirect or 4myrebate.com I will be SUING BOTH OF YOU. Be warned!  I have tracking numbers on every single rebate I sent out with signature confirmation to know once you have gotten it.
