Thank you for your email. This has been passed to myself Mr John Woods, I am the customer services Director for 1st UK.
Well this guy seems a little up set to say the least. I can assure you that our company does exist, our reg office in the uk suite 712 95 wilton road london. We have todate dealt with over 29,000 customers who most of them have been happy.
This customer who has made these unfounded accusations about our company was due to be meet at Heathrow airport at 05th Sept 01 @ 21.00 his flight landed aprox 10 minuets before this, and our agent was dispatched to meet Mr Desborough, We had put out two airport pages Ref: 259875 & 259897 with baa airport info desk, But Mr. Desborough failed to show. It is our standard policy to refund all customers who do not show, this was indeed actioned by our reservation centre in the Uk @ 10.56 10th Sept 01
Whilst I could understand a customer calling us a rip off company if we had kept their money, but we do not it is refunded.
I would like to make it clear, that we will consider taking legal action against Mr Desborough if he continues to Slander our organisation in this manner. I'm glad you have asked us for our side of the story before posting this report to the internet, as it is totally untrue.
