1st Choice
1st Choice Repairs contracted with my husband to level and tie down a mobile home. The contract was dated and signed the 29th of January with a date to start January 30th. January 30th the company no showed and did not call. Our check for $250 was cashed by Paul Sheppard on the 31st. Received a call from Abe with 1st Choice saying they would be out February 1st after 4p.m. to start job. No show, no call Feb. 1st. Feb. 2nd received call stating they would be out 3rd, Abe stated they decided to watch the Super Bowl Jan. 31st. Then the truck had been in shop. No show Thursday 3rd. My husband called that night and requested they either start the job Saturday Feb. 5th at 11 a.m. or return money for materials. Paul called Sat. at 12 p.m. and said there was no way for them to make it that day. I stated he needed to bring money out, Paul said "If he can't wait for the job, then to hell with him." and hung up. My husband has called and requested our money with an answer that it would be in the mail by Friday Feb. 11th. And as of now Paul Sheppard is no longer taking calls from us. He picks up the phone then hangs up.
