This site and service "WhatsYourPrice" ran by Brandon Wade (https://www.askbrandonwade.com/ ) has gone to crap, so to speak. It recently went from a more or less legit service to a bona fide organized scam and now falls under the fraud category. I have reason and evidence to believe, and do indeed believe, that "WhatsYourPrice" is now systematically scamming customers by either fraudently creating fake profiles and/or intentionally turning a blind eye to fraud being committed on the site by and through the use of its service and platform whilst taking no action whatsoever to rectify the situation even when it is brought to their attention with documented evidence in good faith...

https://imgur.com/a/VqQdWga

Having used the "WhatsYourPrice" for several years now I've noticed many alarming changes that have recently taken place, all of which have had a negative impact on the user experience and been to the detriment of the customer, and most of these changes were in, of, and under the control of the site/service...

For example, the signal to noise ratio is not where it used to be. In the past it was the case that most of the attractive girls on the site were legit, as in they looked like their pictures and they really did show up to go on paid dates, whilst a small minority were obvious fake profiles or simply scammer and con artists; however recently the tide has turned and its now the situation that the whole cart is rotten apples and one would be lucky to encounter a 'real' profile once in a blue moon...

Ripoffreport Report Image

The vast majority of attractive women profiles on WhatsYourPrice are now straight on scams, scammers and fake profiles with fake photos asking for money even before the meeting with no intention of actually meeting up at all.. Given that the average cost per date is between $150 to $200 USD and the "WhatsYourPrice" charges roughly 40 credit per introduction and each 100 credit package is $50 USD, this means on average every "introduction" (where the site allows you to message the woman after the woman first accepted the 'date'/meeting) the "WhatsYourPrice" rakes in roughly $20 as pure profit regardless of whether or not the date/meeting actually happens, regardless or whether or not the woman ever responds back to actually exchange information and set up a meeting at all, and regardless of whether or not the profile is actually real in the first place.

In the past on occasion when the "WhatsYourPrice" service removed a particular profile for being fake, violating terms of service, or otherwise not being genuine with the actual intent to get paid to go on dates etc the "WhatsYourPrice" service would automated notify the other party and automatically credit back the party that had been duped into spending money on credits to 'unlock' communication with a scammer or a fake profile etc... Nowever recently the "WhatsYourPrice" site reneged on this longstanding policy and instead when they do remove fake profiles they no longer give any credit back for customers that had been tricked into spending real money and real time to interact and talk with scammers who looked nothing like their photos and whom never had any intention of meeting up.

Recently I've noticed that many of the so-called attractive women on the site (using stolen fake photos from instagram models etc and probably manned by guys running cons/scams using the "WhatsYourPrice" platform to prey on victims) would pretend to arrange for a meeting then at the last moment say that they need help with some gas money or something of the sort, tell asking if the user would be willing to pay upfront by sending them some money for gas/uber/etc via venmo, paypal or cashapp/zelle etc even before the actual meeting takes place. Many instances after sending them the money they dissappear never to be seen nor heard from again.

Ripoffreport Report Image

Another ploy and tactic is some of these "women" (actually scammers) would agree to meet up at a future date and then ask if the guy would be interested in paying money now (before the meeting) in order for them to send him some nudes or otherwise sensual photos... The scammers on "WhatsYourPrice" have taken over the site and basically drowned out the smaller percentage of legit women whom used to be on there to go on real dates... Now its full of fake profiles with stolen photos of scammers masquerading as attractive women to lure victims into pay-up-front scams or some sob story about how their uncle died and they just need some money for a funeral or they are now in some other city and need help with relocating back to their hometown after having been down on their lucky... the bottom line is these scammers are more and more prevalent and their tactics have gotten more creative...

The worst part is "WhatsYourPrice" has turned a blind eye towards these behaviors and I would say they even went so far as to actively encourage this sort of fraudlent symbiotic relationship with these scammers so they both make ill gotten money off the backs of innocent victims and at the direct expense of their paying customers... The way the service works, there is no incentive for "WhatsYourPrice" to punish fake profiles, because for every introduction to an attractive women the site rakes in about $20 USD of pure profit, just to "unlock" the ability to communicate and for the man to be able to message or communicate with the attractive woman at all in order to arrange logistics or exchange contact info for a date or meeting the user must pay the "WhatsYourPrice" site to be allowed to message. After "WhatsYourPrice" recieves the payment (deducts the credit from the package) it retains this money even if later on no date actually happens, even if immediately after unlocking this communication the other party dissappears never to be seen nor heard from again, and even in situations that the "WhatsYourPrice" site itself takes action to remove a profile that violated the sites own terms of service etc the "WhatsYourPrice" site still refuses to credit back the money spent for an interaction that was fraudlent and never had any potential to go anywhere...

In one instance, back in early October 2020 I recieved an offer for a date by a woman by the username of "angelincloud" on "WhatsYourPrice" site, "she" posted about a dozen or so photos and the photos seemed consistent and there weren't any obvious signs or red flags.

Ripoffreport Report Image

I spent credits to unlock the messaging ability to be able to communicate with her but don't actually hear from her again... then some days later I check her profile again and its entirely new set of photos of some entirely different woman! This is proof positive that the profile was a faker because the first set of photos are of one woman and the second set of photos that the profile re-updated with was of an entirely different woman! This was impossible in real-life so the only possible conclusion is that the profile/account was a faker with intent to scam. Before I could report on this the profile suddenly disappeared completely from the site. I requested a manual re-credit back to my account for this but the "WhatsYourPrice" refused to credit me back. Then a few days later I noticed a new profile on "WhatsYourPrice" under a different username this time called "theangelbaby" and asking for another $150 to go on a date, and in order to communicate with "her" I would have to spend more credits again to pay "WhatsYourPrice" to "unlock" the ability to message "her" (because its now she is using a brand new profile etc) and all the photos were exactly the same and even the profile description was word for word identical (I had saved screenshots after I felt this was a scam)... so I report this profile again and yet they take no action against her....

Since she never tried to exchange contact information nor tried to get me to pay upfront before meeting took place, it seems more likely this was a site sanctioned or actually site sponsored incident, in that it was actually employees of "WhatsYourPrice" itself setting up these fake decoy profiles to trick men into spending real money to unlock messaging and then the profiles never write back, never exchange information and never set up a real date or meeting! It would appear that it is a unethical strategy by the owners of "WhatsYourPrice" to artificially boost and inflate their revenue/profit by cheating their customers in a desperate attempt/bid to rake in money during hard economic times and the whole worldwide COVID pandemic situation...

Even if the site has not directly partaken in such unscrupulus behaviors and acts it still begs the question why would they dismantle the previously pre-existing automated system that would credit back whenever the "WhatsYourPrice" platform removed a profile for fraud or for violating its TOS? Why would "WhatsYourPrice" now even refuse to credit back for manual requests for re-credit even when presented with overwhelming evidence that the profile was a fake or operated by a scammer? Why indeed unless it was financially convinent for "WhatsYourPrice" to turn a blind eye to the rampant fraud that is going on their platform because it is lucrative to their bottom line to allow this fraud since they get paid regardless of whether or not their customers actually end up going on these dates/meetings or if its just a scammer on the other end using stolen model photos pretending to be an attractive women wanting to go on a date. In this instance I ran the photos through Google's reverse image similiarity search index and came across the instagram of the actual woman whom these photos were stolen from, I know this because after messaging her on instagram she confirmed that she was never on WYP and didn't know anything about the site and that anyone using her photos on the site did so without her knowledge nor consent...

There are manny other incidents that together paint a picture of "WhatsYourPrice" faciliting this fraud and actively particiting on this scheme... for example a lot of these fake/scam profiles would contact me first and reach out proactively, they would blur out the background that would given away where the photo was taken, yet when I do an reverse image search I found the original photo belonging t some model or influencer on instagram whom stated they never used wyp before, and the original photo doesn't have the details (signage, labels, names) blurred out because it would given awawy often the actual location these photos were taken. This is important because by blurring this out the photos can then be reused on variety of different profiles and each fake profile is pretending to be of a different location... for example the same woman in the photos appears in Dallas, but also in New York City, and Chicago etc but they reuse the same photos but have different profile usernames but any identifying logos or details in the background of these photos get blurred out... This is indictive of high level fraud committed by the site itself in an organized scheme of systematic trickery in order to defraud paying customers so that "WhatsYourPrice" can increase its revenue and boost its bottom line by essentially selling fake profiles or the fake promise of being able to go on dates with fake profiles that never existed in the first place...

WhatsYourPrice unlawful retaliation 02-06-2021

#2Author of original report

Sat, February 06, 2021

Recently my account was abruptly terminated by WhatsYourPrice due to unlawful retaliation. Namely, WhatsYourPrice retailiated against me by terminating my account for exposing their long history of fraud that has gotten more and more egregious over time...

https://i.imgur.com/DMBZDS7.png

Over the past year or so I've calculated that in total I've spent roughly $2,000+ USD on WhatsYourPrice directly going towards purchasing their "credits" and of that ~$2000 about HALF of which I have been defrauded by WhatsYourPrice... in most of this cases of fraud, I would spent real money to buy WhatsYourPrice credits to unlock conversations with women whom had already accepted a bid on a date, and most of the time immediately after unlocking the conversation these women's profile would get deleted and removed entirely from the WhatsYourPrice website without notice nor cause nor explaination, and WhatsYourProfile would always refuse to give me any refund on these credits expended. On the rare occasion in which they did issue two refunds, they only gave me back 20%, so for those two "women" I wasted about 70 credits but only got back less than 20 credits worth of refunds...

WhatsYourPrice recently also structured their site so that you can only request a refund if its been AFTER the first week since you unlocked the match (spent the credit) but no LATER than the first month. This three week window of oppurtunity means that for users whose profiles are deleted by the WhatsYourPrice for ANY reason, I would never even get a chance to report the user or to request a refund! To make matters worse, on the opposite end of the spectrum, sometimes it takes a while to logistically set up a date and many of the women don't respond quickly, so if I wait too long, and it passes the month mark, against I lose /waive my 'right' to even request a refund from whatsyourprice...

It got so bad I basically gave up on their refund system, which I suppose is the entire point, they don't actually want anyone requesting refunds even if its WhatsYourPrice that deleted the accounts....

So today I spent another $50 to get another 100 credits, and I spent 30 credits to contact a user on WhatsYourPrice by the name of Alex, she is allegedly 22 years old from San Antonio, Texas. She accepts by bid for date and I expend 30 credits to unlock the conversation. Before we can even settle on a logistics of date/time/place, I log into the site again and find that her profile is GONE! No, she didn't block me, I had bookmarked her page and by typing in the exact URL, the entire profile is missing and it was DELETED BY WHATSYOURPRICE. Now that the profile is gone, I wasn't even able to set up a date with her, but I noticed that my total credits was now at 70 credits and like as before WhatsYourPrice will not refund me the credits even though they themselves deleted the other person's profile/account, making it impossible for me to set up a date with her. As well, because the profile was entirely deleted, I cannot even go on to the match/conversation to use the system to request a refund....

So I updated my own profile and complained about this on my WhatsYourPrice profile... this was for the countless times I've spent real money on credits just to have the WhatsYourPrice delete the girls profile before I can even arrange a date and then I don't even get my credit back.... Immediately my profile gets deleted and my account gets terminated, even though I had a 70 credit balance and spent 30 credits on an account WhatsYourPrice deleted ($50 gets 100 credits) Whatsyourprice refused to give me a full refund after I have been a loyal customer for years and probably spent upwards of more than $5,000 on their site and service throughout the years (spending $2000 last year alone)....

Beware of elaborate faker/scammer Katelyn Andree ( HandfulOfun )

#3Author of original report

Thu, December 17, 2020

So this woman by the name of "Samantha" accepts my offer on WhatsYourPrice for a platonic travel partner to go on a trip together, proceeds to send me a text message introducing herself as "Samantha"... from a area code 469 ending in 0630.... saying she looks forward to talking about it more and that she would love to met up for dinner to discuss etc... but that she prefers to text instead of communicating on the WhatsYourPrice messaging platform... She then stated that she would "Absolutely!:)" be open to a weekend trip to Las Vegas in late December 2020 and that she likes to met up at a Dunston's Steak House in Dallas for further discussion etc... She confirms on the phone that she can do December 18th to December 20th and that she had previously already went on a trip with someone else before for $1,000 but that she would be willing to give a discount to me and only required $800.00 for the trip. Then sends some smiles emojis and blows some kisses at me...

I had something come up on the day of the dinner and gave her advanced notice if it was okay to move it to the next day, then she accepted and I mentioned to make sure she didn't think I was not serious about it, that I would be willing to send her upfront a partial payment of $100 via Zelle to help establish some good will and trust. She initially wanted me to send it to her Cash app and even sent me a screenshot of her cashapp profile/ID, but her username of Blueeyedblonde didn't even match the fact that she represented herself on her wyp profile and in all her pictures as a natural red head... not a blonde! ( $F1recracker ) then after I tell her that I don't have cash app and only have Venmo and Zelle, she provides me her Zelle information but curiously the phone number she gives me that is associated with her Zelle isn't even the same phone number that she is texting me from... That number has the same area code as 469 but ends in last four of 4962.... and when I got the zelle request from her, the Zelle name on the account wasn't Samantha at all but instead someone by the name of Katelyn Andree...

So I send her the $100 anyway, even though already there are some red flags popping up... and then she confirms she got the $100 payment via Zelle (conf # a464ecd42 ) on Dec 15th 2020... I set up a reservation for 7pm at Keg steakhouse in Arlington for the following day and she immediately writes back to say she is excited and that she will be there.... even saying that she felt I was very kind, and "such a gentleman" and looked forward to meeting with me etc etc etc...

Then I replied back asking her logistically if she were to confirm and agree to the trip after meeting up to discuss at dinner, how would she handle the payment and process? I suggested giving her the first half of $400 in cash upfront when she actually shows up at the DFW airport on the day of departure and giving her the rest of the payment, the second half of another $400 when we land in Vegas... To this remark she never responded back... it was only 4pm at the time so its not like she would have already gone to sleep or anything... I don't think much of it and decided to follow up the next day to confirm the dinner that evening...

The following morning I still hadn't heard from her so I texted her to ask if she might be able to do lunch rather than dinner (something lite and quick etc) and if that worked for her I could give her a little bit extra cash to met up at lunch as opposed to dinner (the agreement was meeting at dinner for $160 to discuss the trip but with no pressure nor obligation to finally accept etc) to which I never heard back, and it wasn't until 4PM that day (three hours before dinner and way past lunchtime) that she sent back one terse single liner stating that she was sorry but she just saw the messages.... after that one liner she goes radio silent again and I don’t hear from her... I asked if we were still good for dinner or can we simply met up at a nearby starbucks instead if she felt dinner was somehow too involved or committal at that stage, to which I do not get a reply...

Then around 8PM that evening, one hour after our original scheduled dinner (to which she never showed up) she sends me a text an hour later stating that "I guess we are off since I haven't heard from you".... I responded that it was she who never responded to my repeated messages...

She follows up and doubles down by accusing me of ghosting her twice... even though she accepted the $100 to make the change of the original dinner, and she never responded back to confirm the second dinner... in fact she never showed up at any of these events and didn't even text me until an hour after we would have already met...

So I texted her back the next day, stating that I could offer to pay her the entire amount $800 upfront before we actually went to Vegas... she immediately sent me another Zelle request for $800 but again accused me of being the one who ghosted her, which seemed like she was pointing fingers and assigning blame to cover for her own defects and shortcomings and at this point in time there was just a lot more red flags that all added up to make me a lot more skeptical and suspicious... I still wanted to believe she was legit and that the trip could happen, but on the other hand I wasn't gonna let myself get played for a fool or fall prey to some elaborate scam of some sort...

So this time instead of paying her the Zelle request right away, I remarked that we would need to finally met up face to face first, and that if I can finally she her face to face, then I will pay out the Zelle $800 request. To which she responds if I was free that day to meet up, I replied yes I was free, but never heard from her again for the rest of the day....

The following morning I sent her a message stating some of my concerns/suspicions but still trying to be accommodating and wishing everything to be legit and that she was real and her intent was good etc... so I proposed that in lieu of meeting up in person if she would agree to do a video confirmation of some sort that would satisfy my concerns to the point where I felt reasonably comfortable to send her the $800 zelle upfront without first having to physically met up in person face to face....

I also stated that this $800 was contingent on her actually following through on taking the trip with me and that if she for any reason couldn't make the trip with me that I would proceed to file a dispute with my Bank of America to attempt to recover the money...

Then she replies back stating that she is no longer interested in the Vegas trip, that it all seems very fishy to her, and then she maliciously makes the false accusation against me and labeling me a sex trafficker and criminal without any evidence to substantiate her claims...

//////////////

/////////////

If you werent comfortable to go to vegas you could have indicated you changed your mind, instead of stringing me along and then accuse me of sex trafficking....

You offered the 800 rate, even stating you did it before for 1000 with other guys but would give me a discount.

If you wanted more for the trip you also could have indicated that...

But you abruptly stopped communicating at 4pm on the first day after agreeing at $800, when I asked to the confirm the logistics of $400 cash upfront at dfw airport and the rest $400 when we landed in vegas, I never heard from you again, until 4pm the follow day in which you wrote back a single one liner apologizing for just then seeing the messages, but you dont address the communication /questions/remarks I brought up, then go radio silent again...

Then you have the nerve to turn it around and accuse me of ghosting you twice, when in fact I paid you zelle without even seeing you face to face, when in fact I went out of my way to over communicate but you couldnt be bothered to make the effort to confirm or accept or reject the logistics of payment and travel that I laid out...

Then finally when you got exposed for being a flake and a liar you again deflected by maliciously accusing me of sex trafficking when I made it clear it would be 100% platonic travel partner with seperate hotel rooms and never had any discussions about any sexual acts or services nor even hinted at anything other than a platonic travel companion....

Did you really think I was stupid enough to pay you another $800 via zelle upfront when youve been nothing but cold feet, second thoughts, noncommunicado, deflect your faults onto others by shifting blame and lodging false accusations, and on top of all that you like to play mind games and never made any real effort to establish communication nor met up face to face... also a short sentence followed up with a dissapearing act then when you finally reappear you accuse the other party of having gone radio silent or ghosting you

Yet you did infact sent me a zelle request for $800... before even meeting in person...

I know for a fact 100% you would have taken my money and ran/flaked all the while absolving yourself of guilt by falsely accusing the guy you cheated/scammed ( in this case would have been me) of being the criminal or creep or sexual trafficker or whatever... nothing but projection and deflection...

Oldest trick in the book

Did you think I was born yesterday???

Some red flags and why I need assurance in the form of video verification or meeting up in person... :

1) You suddenly disappeared in the middle of a text conversation (during our first initial day of texting) . Then convinently retroactively declare you never recieved any of those messages, but even this statement again contradicts your earlier short text which you sent the afternoon prior stating : "I'm sorry I just saw this!"... so either you saw the text messages or you didn't, but it makes no logical sense for you to suddenly stop communicating with me, then claim you saw it late, only to later a day after that claim you never got any of those messages at all!

Additionally when you sent the message and said ""I'm sorry I just saw this!"", you could have taken the time to address the points I brought up and to confirm whether the $400 at airport meeting and $400 when landing at airport was okay with you, but instead you just sent a short one liner, totally ignorned my previous communication attempts even after you admitted to seeing them and apologized for it, and then proceeded to go radio silent yet once again!

2) During our initial text communication and messaging you called me "handsome" multiple times, and on my WYP profile I had a profile photo that clearly already showed my face in detail. Yet, you still requested a picture of my face during our texting claiming that is so you would know who it is you are meeting up with for the dinner date etc... This is a red flag because it is inconsistent and shows you either completely don't pay attention, or otherwise don't trust me to be using real photos of myself, and yet you blur out your own photos and get defensive whenever I ask for verification or meeting up in person before sending you any money

3) Your cashapp username is blueeyedblonde but you are purportedly in your photos a red head... which is another inconsistency and another red flag that this could be ran by different people or multiple accounts

4) Your reference to my photo stating that "you like your edits???" made no sense whatsoever and seemed out of context and out of place... this is another potential red flag of something fishy going on beneath the scenes.... its very strange and not normal at all....

5) Your repeatedly references of the "hun" terms of endearment and then suddenly dropping them when you realized I was getting skeptical and calling you out on it is another red flag, not to mention you accusing me of ghosting on you when I had paid you upfront to change the date of the first dinner (which is not a ghost since you accepted the money for the change and it wasn't a no-show situation) and you ignorning me thereafter even though I took screenshot evidence that you logged into your WYP account many times during your radio silence period in which you totally ignored any and all of my attempts to ascertain the $800 for Vegas logistics and to confirm the second dinner date set for 7PM that evening... I didn't cancel, I asked if you could either confirm the dinner was still on or if you preferred to get paid a bit more extra cash to come closer to me in Arlington so that we can just met up at a local nearby star bucks...
