Walmart Never buy a tv from Walmart Farmingdale NY
I purchased a tv from Walmart took it home and the tv stand did not fit the tv and not only that but the tv had lines through the display as if the tv was dropped. So I go back with my receipt that proves it was purchased like 3 hours ago.
Never once did I speak to management or anyone the only person I spoke to was security who told me I couldn’t return or exchange the tv. So long story short after having to call the police to file an incident report they told the cop that sometimes workers take back merchandise and re sell it that they shouldn’t have.
I’m currently waiting for small claims court to contact me back.

I just spoke to corporate and supposedly in the system the tv I purchased was previously returned two days before I bought it, they explained an associate must have put it back out by mistake. They have to review the camera to verify and will contact me back

I don’t want to sue anyone I just want my $600 bucks back where they sold me a tv that they claim isn’t sold in the store, I purchased the tv at 930 and bought it back at 11 and was told I had to wait for a manager that never came who sent security and said we saw you on tape buy the tv with cash but we can’t issue you a refund or exchange still. So what other options did I have

So you are going to sue Walmart in small claims court?? Good luck with that. I bought a TV from Walmart, it did not work as expected, took it back with receipt and they exchanged with no problem.
SO what is the real story?? Small claims court is not going to call you back - you have to file a court case. And you wasted the police officers time with calling them over a civil matter. And NO I do not work for Walmart.
