Something went wrong when ordering online. No order was placed, but I was charged twice. The charge initially was a PayPal pending charge on 8-24-23. But on 8-26-23 the charge was deducted from my bank account. The charge was no longer 'pending.' It was actually deducted from my bank account.

PayPal explained to me that vitacost must be the one to initiate and cancellation or refund. But vitacost will not do this. In the meantime, my money is not available to me.

Today vitacost informed me that they have no record of the charge, and that I must wait 3-5 business days for someone from their credit department to contact me.

vitacost.com made a mistake. Money has been taken from my account. vitacost refuses to resolve this issue.

Don't Save Payment Method with online vendors

(1) If you don't have a Saved Payment Method with a vendor, they can't charge you randomly.  Type in your payment info each time, use a browser-based saving method or digital wallet option.

(2) WHEN PAYING for an order, use a CREDIT CARD.  That will give you recourse options if a problem occurs.
