I am writing today as a formal complaint against Virginia Singles seeking a full refund of $7,000 (Seven Thousand Dollars). This dating service is one of many sites they have established that are scamming their clients out of thousands of dollars. They promise a thorough matchmaking service by reviewing and pairing singles by mutual interests and values; however, the matches they attempt to set up for the client are nowhere near what the client would consider as compatible, a match, or verified with their questionnaire results. They force the client to pay everything up front. Clients are made promises that are never executed. They exercise extreme high-pressure sales tactics. At the time of the contract execution, the sales person uses the clients’ own recent dating circumstances to persuade them into a ludicrous contract. A contract that is nonrefundable. They consistently badger and berate the client while devaluing their self-esteem in order to persuade and negotiate relentlessly until the client finally agrees to commit. They use manipulation, coercion, and emotional techniques that make the client question their own ability to judge character by having them share their painful and personal experiences which has led them to their service in the first place. They do not provide services to the clients.
