I charged new furniture on my Visa USAA credit card of over $5000. After almost 6 months, no furniture, so I cancelled the order and after already paying off the bill, I was given a credit back on my card. I asked for my refund and it took a while to finally get it. Took the check to Chase where the check was written off of and I also bank. The ATM rejected it, so took it inside to deposit. The teller said 'there is a problem with this account'and stamped/voided the check. Seriously...a bad check from USAA?? Finally got someone at USAA agian that I thought knew what was going on. She was from the banking dep. and said they would put this on 'high priority' and get me a new check. So much for that. Now, a week later, again, no check. A company like USAA sends out bad checks and wants to send another check???? If you wrote a bad check, you would 1)pay a fine, 2)pay the bank a fee 3)pay in certified funds to make your check good. What is wrong with this picture?
I am under the impression Charles Schwab is somehow part owner of USAA.(???) So much for investing in that kind of venture........ Watch your money folks. Just becasue there are commercials about a company does not mean they can put their money where there mouth is.
