Beware of this woman, she is a freaking CROOK, I met her out at a bar after a long week and we had drinks and one thing led to another she took me home and we finished the night as expected, during the evening and again after our "morning after" conversations she mentioned: "her and her business partner" are getting into flipping houses, she claimed that she had several and would like to get them started ASAP.
She was anxious and had no contractors that she knew could help her, now that should have been my first red flag, who goes into a flipping venture and has no contractors ready? had known from previous conversations that I did renovations and wanted to know If I would be able to get her a couple of quotes and offered to potentially get a business relationship going, The second red flag was when she tried to negotiate the deposit, I WILL NEVER NEGOTIATE WITH ANYONE AGAIN!
anywho......
so fast forward 1 month She had us do multiple projects for her all over Lagrange, Pine Mountain, Hamilton, Franklin she would always dangle the balances she owed like a carrot in your face to get you to the next project! She would say things like " I just have to transfer money from one account to another" WHAT!? (red flag 3)
I should have seen this coming but I was blinded by her "persuasive tactics" She comes off semi-intelligent, wants YOU to carry all the project cost in order to "learn to trust you" all the while she goes on trips all over the country and gives you crumbs of the balance when you finally get to confront her!
Long story shortened, she screwed me more ways than one, Most of which was not that great....
It took me 6 months to pay people that did for me on her projects and Its a good thing I have such strong relationships with these people or it could have been ugly. I have not received a penny from her and were talking a price tag in the neighborhood $12,694.32!! from two jobs and another $6500.00 on another 2 smaller ones!
Her email has changed three times, every time I get a new contact for her and I ask her what the hell is going on she claims "someone must have hacked it", phone numbers are no good, All her information she gave me is either not working, incorrect or out of date. If I had known about this site 6 months ago I would have posted, The problem is I am not a technology guy so I don't know about a lot of these things.
I'm at a loss, I never thought I would have been scammed like this, I have learned a valuable lesson I assure you!
