Theodore Dawson Ted We hired him to do plumbing and electrical work on our recently purchased home. He did a horrible job. Nothing works. Detroit Michigan

We hired him to do the plumbing and he used the wrong materials. He put everything on wrong. Pipes have come loose and costs us hundreds of dollars in water damage. We paid for the material so we can't understand why he didn't get the right materials.
The tub leaks, it doesn't hold water in. We had to buy a suction cover to keep the water from running out. It's leaks all over the living room. The hot water pec pipe in the basement was not properly on and the water pressure disconnected it and it flooded our basement and damage our water heater and furnace and everything else we had in the basement.
He left huge holes in the walls that he never repaired. He has not come to finish his work and now he is avoiding our phone calls. You can't plug more than one appliance in without the power going out. He does sloppy work and is very messy. We have paid him and he will not come over to finish his work. the next step is to take him to court.

You hired an unlicensed, uninsured, unbonded "Handyman" to do a very expensive job to
A) do someone a favor or and/or
B) save a few bucks, right?
You are paying the stupid tax. Only hire professionals who offer written contracts and are licensed, insured and bonded to do the work you need done. You turned your house over to a fly-by-night loser and now it's going to cost you a lot more to have the work fixed by the pro you should have contracted in the first place. Live and Learn.
