This guy is STRANGE. My unit quit working 4 times. He came to my house 4 times. The first time, he was over 3 hours late for the appointment and didn't call to let me know. He would not answer texts or calls, and then just shows up with no apology. I thought it was wierd, but he put freon in and I was just happy it was fixed. 

Three days later, it went out. He was 3 hours late again, no call and wouldn't return a call or text. By the time he showed up, the unit thawed and was running. He got there, saw it was working and tried to leave without running any tests. I pleaded with him to test SOMETHING, and he reluctantly did. 

Five days later, it freezes up again. He was over 2 hours late w/o any communication. He said he must not have put my panel on good the last time. He adjusted the panel on my unit turned the blower or fan up and left. 

Three days later, unit out again. He shows up late again w no communication. This time, I decide to watch him. He goes into the attic, turns my dehumidifier setting from DRY to HUMID and told me I had it set wrong. He said the setting should be on HUMIDITY because it's humid, and tried to leave after 10 minutes. I explained to him that he just turned my $2000 dehumidifier off. He argued with me until, finally, I had my wife get me the user manual for the dehumidifier so he could read it, rather than take my word for it. When I tried to hand it to him, he wouldn't look. 

This made me think he knew what he was doing, so I asked him if he really turned it to that setting to get more air flow to come through to keep my ac unit from freezing. He admittedly said, "Yes." He tried to lie to me about my dehumidifier setting because he knew he wasn't fixing it and I, obviously, wouldn't want him turning my $2000 dehumidifier off. I had to go back to the attic and turn it on. He said to call him if it went out again. 

It went out a 5th time and when I texted him, he said to quit harassing him that he told me to quit calling him. (HE NEVER TOLD ME THAT.) Then he texted, "I'll show you who you are f****** with b****."

Frankly, I thought maybe he thought I was someone else because he never told me not to contact him. In fact, he specifically, told me to call if it broke again. Either way, it weirded me out and I had my wife and 2 year old go stay at my mother's because I was concerned for their safety.

Come to find out, my mom's friend had to get a restraining order against him after he worked at their house. 

I WOULD BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS GUY AND DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM AT ALL.
