Deal With 2nd Chace Credit at your own risk. You have been warned!!!!!!!! We are repeat customers of Chris and he did a great job the 1st time. The 2nd encounter has been a nightmare. My wife and I paid them $3000 to repair both of our credit. Unfortunately we are out of $19,844.46 because we put all our trust in this company. 2nd Chance Credit ensured us that they could clear our credit card debt and raise our credit scores. Yes they raise my wife's credit score but they didn't clear her credit card debt. We sent them every email from the credit card company. They insured us that they were handling everything. Every credit related document was sent to them in a timely fashion. They kept telling us to ignore the notices, and they will take care of the situation.

On August 5th 2022 debt collectors received a court order and garnished all our checking and savings bank accounts totaling $16, 844.46. Now my wife, 2 kids, and I have to move in with my mother due to their negligence of handling our American Express account. Their response was this never happens or it never happened to them since running this Credit repair company. They did nothing to make the situation better. They pretended to call a lawyer friend to help us, but the lawyer wasn't returning their calls. We requested a refund of $1500 for my wife's account, but they quickly declined our request. Their reason was they tried their best. I told them to cancel my account because I wasn't satisfied with the handling of my wife's case. It's amazing how quickly they sent an email to cancel my account after they poorly handled my wife's account. Chris this is no way to treat a repeat customer. You never took accountability of your lack of knowledge with our case. You don't care about your clients. All you see is $1500 per client.

Accountability...LOL

You talk about accountability but failed to take accountability for your own debt. This is your SECOND time needing a "Credit Repair" company. Apparently, you did not learn from your mistakes the first time. This company didn't run up 16K in debt on a credit card.

There is no "easy way" out.  Think to yourself, if everyone could pay $3,000 to get rid of their credit card debt..why aren't they doing it? Hint, it isn't because they are naive and dumb, it is because you are. There is nothing that a "Credit Repair" company can do legally that you can't do for a free or very low cost.

For them to get to the Garnishment stage, the documents you ignored were likely summons to hearings. Once you failed to appear they entered a default judgment. Had you gone to court you still would probably have been told you owed the debt, but the judge may have been able to work out a payment plan you could have handled better. Your other option would of course have been Bankruptcy, and for $3,000 you could have paid an attorney and done everything you need to do.

You can try and sue them in court, but it would only be for their fee...not your debt.

Your biggest lesson here should be is accountability goes both ways

You thought you could somehow defraud the credit card company out of $20k worth of credit card debt (that you obviously had no issue paying), all while IMPROVING your credit score?  Do you also believe in Santa Claus and the tooth fairy?  There are only two ways you can legitimately get rid of credit card debt: pay it off, or declare bankruptcy and prove in court that you cannot pay it.
