Quantex Refused to Honor My Purchase From Them
In March 1999 I contacted Quantex and placed an order (order #713827) for a new video card and 128 mgs. RAM. The total of my bill was $348 plus $5 shipping and Bryan who took the order advised me that it would arrive by March 31, 1999. I gave Bryan my credit card number to pay for the merchandise. The following day Bryan called me and stated that Quantex was now buying a more expensive type of memory and therefore in order for me to get 128 mgs. RAM from them it would cost me significantly more. In fact, my total order would come closer to $500! I have complained to every manager I can find at Quantex and they all basically tell me that it's just too bad. It is my opinion that they accepted my order and they should have to honor it rather than try to up the cost of the order the following day. As I have stated to Quantex quite a few times over the past year, they will NEVER get one penny more of my money. They do not seem to care if they have my repeat business or not
