I took my vehicle in for a tune-up, and suddenly found myself dealing with a 'check engine' light. So, I took it back. This vehicle is not necessarily old, and I haven't really had too much go wrong with it, until now. They had my car back in their garage for a day or so and figure that I need a new thermostat. OK, fine. Its going to cost $300, but whatever. THEN, they call a little bit later nad tell me that I need a new temperature sensor switch. At this point I need the car back for work, I go to pick it up and now not just the "check engine" light is on, but now the "service" and "change oil" are on as well, and, the fan is running constantly, which it never did before. My husband takes a look and realizes that yes, the fan will run constantly if the sensor isn't hooked, and all those lights will go on as well because of it. HOWEVER, he also found that the sensor switch's wires had been completely taken out and it was jsut sitting in there now, no power to it. How convenient. Mind you, I did not have a problem with the temperature of the car before, nor did I have a problem with the temperature gauge reading something funny. All of that was normal until they messed with it. When I went back in to ask for an explanation, they hymned and hawed, walked their way around my questions and said if I wanted to have them look at my car again they would charge me again. Nice try. Bottom line, do not go to any of their locations. Research their name and you will find dozens of complaints and horrors filed against them. Save your money and go somewhere more creditable than them!
