We've been working with Portia for a little over a year. A couple of months in, their system started having significant issues - freezing, losing data, changing information, etc. We worked with their team for months on attempting to resolve the issues, often with their customer service people being rude and blaming any and all issues on us. Their manager even discounted our services at one point while apologizing for the way we were being treated. Still, none of the issues were resolved. As a result, we decided to switch providers and began that process.

When we notified Portia that we were switching and would need all of our documentation and records, they refused to give it to us. They told us there's no possible way to get any of the records out of their system except by going in and having someone download each service report and signature form one by one by hand. This would take hundreds of man hours. It's impossible that there's no other way to access the information in the event of an audit for example.

My husband is an IT professional and states that this should be a simple issue of merely downloading the information from their database, but Portia is refusing to help or allow us access in any way. They're holding our clients' medical records hostage!
