Pep Boys ##310 Engine light on said it was alternator not battery. Replaced then said belt and battery bad? Kissimmee Florida
My engine light came on. i noticed some fluctuation in battery needle. Ask them to check battery. Said it was fine. My problem was my Altenator. Needed new one and new belt. Then when finished said my battery was bad needed new battery.? $712.00 later.
Engine light came on again next day. Went to Chevrolet dealer. They stated it was not alternator (3year old chevrolet suburban) it could have just been my battery. Engine light was from my gas cap seal. I certainly could not afford spending $712.00, but was told I would probably break down and car would just stop, have to tow it. I am devastated financially!!!!
