Mueller Reports Liability reports to client insurance companies in the home, commercial liability business. Tonanwanda, NY Nationwide
This is Mueller Reports, a particualrly paranoid and arcane service business for major liability insurers. They apparently have very high turnover of their field staff and they also use many independent contractors on a notably misnamed "part time" basis. They are non-responsive to inquiries from applicants and particularly secretive about the hiring process.
I have extensive experience with competitors of Mueller Reports. The business is the same and the proceedures identical and the majority of reporters use generic software for filing reports. So there is no mystery about how the work is done. What is mysterious is Mueller's super paranoid stance regarding employment and its process. From what I can report, they keep detailed records of applicants as well as of people who become employees. This is related to the complaints on this and other sites that Mueller is really a record gathering business and not a real service business with a discrete business model.
The model that they widely recruit for is typically a low paying, independent contractor arrangement. There are some honest service businesses out there but none of them will amount to more than an inadequate part time job which is okay if you are being supported at the same time by other commisionable or even salaried work.
It seems that this Mueller has a bunker mentality which should warn off any intelligent applicant. I took this time because of their seasonal appearance on Craigslist and the arcane and almost Kafkaesque proceedures. They should be blackballed and ignored. How they purportedly enlist major clients is a measure of how inadequate all members of the insurance community are in maintaning a clean public persona.
