I have been the designated transporter for my underage son to and from his medical and therapy appointments for years because transportation services are unavailable for minors where we live. I was solicited by Medicaid that I could get mileage reimbursement for these appointments and I thought that was great. They sent me a brochure for MTM and I called and followed the instructions to keep a trip log and to call them to schedule the trips we would take.

It's difficult to get through to someone sometimes so I tried to do the trip requests through the website, which doesn't work on any browser or phone. I kept trying back on the website but it still hasn't been updated from about 8 months ago. So I was stuck calling and finally, they allowed us to book trips 2 months out since his appointments are regular. 

After a few months, I mailed in the trip logs with all the information they requested and my correct address even using a return address label. I called a month or so after to see when I would get payment since I haven't heard from them. They have to call over to accounting while you're on hold with them and speak to them. First I come to find out they supposedly issued a check but they forgot part of my address so that had to be corrected. It took 2 weeks for them to sort that out and run a check trace. I would call at least once a week as requested to find out when they would mail another check.

Finally, they informed me right before Christmas that it was showing I would be paid for the mileage I submitted but I need to call the week after about the check because accounting needed time to wade through all the requests. So I waited til after the holidays and now on January 4th, they informed me they need to do another check trace for the same check we already know was lost in the mail supposedly. And that I should call next week! This has been going on for 4 months.

This company reeks of fraud and I've read other reviews who reported having the same issues. My other complaint is the workers they have don't know how to operate the scheduling system because I'll be on the phone for 20 minutes waiting for them to change the schedule when there was a cancellation on my end. The one woman deleted our whole schedule for the following month and said I wouldn't get reimbursed for it! Then she reluctantly put us back on the schedule but that phone call took 45 minutes and she never bothered to call her supervisor when I asked to speak to them. I hate dealing with them but Medicaid has given us no other choice.
