Its been over A YEAR since I started working with this company and frankly I am over it. Being a new entrapenur has many disadvantages and it was very easy for me to fall victum to this company. From their website it seems like a dream, a one stop shop to get a shoe design and manufauctered. But 6 months in I started to get this awful feeling in the pit of my stomach that I had picked the wrong person to work with.

The first prototype they sent me was not what I had envisioned at all. Its weird because I sent them a picture of my own shoes that I had modified myself and that I wanted a more professional version of them. What I got was not even close and we had zoom meeting to dicuss prior.

They contacted me only once during that process. I had a meeting with them and traveled to NYC from DC to make sure we were on the same page for the 2nd draft. after months of waiting I finally got them but heres the real kicker .... they didn't fit and the zipper broke.

I didnt even get to wear them once and test to see if the procduct they designed would even be functional. I let them know and they told me to send them back in March. I reached out them in June, then again in July. After that I decided not to put my eggs in one basket and found someone to work with locally. Get this... We got it done in 2 months for not even close to what I paid Modern Vice and it was time to let these guys go so I could move on to the next phase. 

I called the owner Jordan Adoni and he did not answer and his voicemail is always full. Within 5 minutes he texted me which is in my opionin pretty unprofessional and just said my shoes would be ready next week. I told him that I appreciated his companies efforts but the protype has been completed by someone else and there is no need to proceed and would like to dicuss policies for reinbursment.

He said that they made a killer product but the problem is I dont have it after waiting for 4 months and the basic components didnt work so I decided to go a different route and dicuss it on the phone. I even offered to compinsate them for the work already done but stop the project immediatly. His response was that he would not be avalible till Monday.

Thats weird because I am a client who has spent almost 3K and you cant speak to me till 7 days from now? I tried calling his assistant and sent them both emails expressing my wishes but so far they have not responded. I am just hoping this company has only profitted off my stupidity and not anyone elses. But if so I hope to connect becasue I plan on taking legal action if I dont hear from them.
