Chrzanowski sells himself as a "veteran game developer," and while his resume might be long, it's proof that such does not equate to skill, talent, or even basic intelligence.
He always opens with a sob story about an accident that he had several years previously to gain sympathy. You figure "Hey- I'll give the guy a chance - he might be able to help, and I might be able to help him."
What really happens:
He will sow division among the people working on your project.
He will lie repeatedly
He will refuse to do a lick of work.
He will literally fake a heart attack, if he does not get his way.
EVERY decision you allow him to make, will be the wrong one. EVERY suggestion he offers will do nothing but harm.
He has no "contacts" within the industry of any merit, and it's a guarantee that whomever he suggests you hire will end up doing a lousy job, and screwing your project over.
He did all of this and more to our project - and it is absolutely infuritating knowing that there are scumbags out there who blunder around, destroying indie game projects, simply because they CAN, and they SIMPLY DON'T CARE.
Mike Chrzanowski and people like him destroy projects - not out of malice, but out of sheer indifference and ingorance.
