Bought MI Windows from Lowes only to find out that the windows are defective. Windows leak & allow debris in between the glass. MI Windows want a form to be filled out on vision top/bottom & width from one end to the other. Sash top/bottom & width measurements.
A MI Window form per each panel. Mi Windows will not send a person to measure and take pictures from inside & outside. We will be responsible for all this information. Plus MI Windows will charge $40.00 per window for shipment. We will be responsible for that as well. So much for the warranty. Unbeknownst to me, MI Windows were in a class action lawsuit. Looks like they are trying to discourage us from trying to make them not responsible for the warranty.
Lowes will not help us unless we pay them to install the Windows again. I had 2 handyman that decided it wasn't in the best interest for them to measure & get involved. There went $300.00 for nothing!
My husband is 84 years old & is afraid of trying to measure. I understand that. My windows are an embarrassment to me. MI Windows won't help & Lowes won't help. All I can do is cry. We live on a pension & now I guess I better find a job!
