Mercedes Sprinter RV Rentals Sande is the owner Failure to refund reasonable costs to repair an RV failure that was no fault of mine South Lake Tahoe California
I rented a motorhome on July 1 for an 8 day trip throughout the west. It was a grat motorhome, and a great trip, until the holding tank underneath the motorhome fell down and scraped on the pavement. I was in a dangerous position, very small shoulder, and no cell service. I flagged down a railroad worker who, as a good Samaritan, helped me fix the problem enough to get off of the dangerous road conditions. I traveled back to the neighboring town, and had the problem fixed enough to allow me to complete my trip.
I called the company when this happpened and notified them of the situation, and took photos and sent them.
I competed my trip without further incident and I asked the company to refund the cash that I gave to the railroad worker who helped me ($100) and the more permanent repair ($100) and additional parts necessary ($75). They not only refused, but accused me of causing this failure.
The company has had numerous opportunities to make this right. I have lots of time and agony invested in a situation that should have never been necessary. This is a simplet mechanical falilure which happens.
