I was approached by Matthew Swenten (he gave me a business card) at a gas station near Arizona City in Feb 2024. He was overly friendly and complimenting my shoes and vehicle. He saw my Iowa license plate and claimed to be from Iowa. He started by asking for directions to Yuma. Then he said he was in the area to close a Best Buy store and had a TV in his vehicle, which was a grey Chevy Traverse. He said he couldn't take the TV on the airplane and asked if I wanted it. I told him that I didn't want a "free" TV and he left. The incident felt fishy, so I looked him up and found a Ripoff report that matched my interaction with him. It was a scam.
