I reserved 1 room, for two nights in July. I was the victim of an assault by one of my family members. The hotel threw us all out, even though I was the victim, my 12 year old had epilepsy, and my husband has Hungtingtons disease. Even though they did not provide us the room we paid for and refuses to give us a refund. Brandon Donnelly- General manager Christina Ranken- manager of rooms, took payment for services ( room) without providing services. They refuse to refund us monies paid. They refuse to adknowledge their security officer and night auditor needs additionial training. Although the police took my family member from the hotel premise, they kicked us out in the cold dark streets of Anchorage Alaska. My daughter, who is 12, suffered a seizure. We were in the streets for 4 hours with the police. The police were instrumental in finding us a shelter to stay at. 

Mariott Anckorage is in essence stealing. They took our money, without providing the promised services. They failed to protect me, instead, threw us all out on the street where I called for police and ambulance. They stated they had to protect the other guests, but the perpertrator of the crime, as stated before, was taken by the police off the property. There was no threat. There was just one bloodied victim, and 2 disabled people. They have lied to their owner Columbia Sussex- and told them the security guard told us to go back into our room. That never happenend. Instead, while trying to ask the guard for help, he screamed, " I don't want to hear anything, from anyone- you all have to leave now!". The hotel also told Columbia Sussex that we rented 2 rooms for each night. We did not. We rented one room, and one can easily look at the reservation to see this- one room under my husbands Mariott number, and one room the 2nd night under my Mariott number. Mary Ann in claims with Columbia Sussex failed to call me back with her findings. When I called her, she refused to refund our money and  refused to adknowledge any  misconduct by the hotel.
