Indiana Hospitality LLC, Ramada Inn Anti-American Indian run hotel that lies, decieves, spies, and does not want to pay. Elkhart Indiana
This Anti-American Indian run outfit exemplifies how American business is being left in the scandalous, decieving hands of foreigners. The Ramada Inn, run by Indiana Hospitality, owner Mike Malik, has reached all time lows. This individual introduced himself in July 2008 as the new owner. "We are one big family, nothing will change..." My ex-coworkers and I listened to that and hoped for the best.
A week later, health insurance was dropped, positions were being cut left and right, and contractors that were hired to work on the hotel were not getting paid. And not to mention, they rigged up the whole building with a 32 camera "security system" and terminated the contract with the security guard. These cameras, complete with microphones turned out to be a "spy system" to watch employees and monitor conversations from their homes and offices in California.
Fast-Forward...in May 2009, my position as part-time maintenance worker was eliminated because it was brought to my attention that part-time positions were no longer needed. Two days after that announcement, a meeting was held for existing emplyees, by the owner Mike Malik. My name was brought up, in front of the whole group, as being "unprofessional, and was fired because of having committed very serious misconduct on-duty." This information was forwarded to me by remaining co-workers.
The manager of the property, an American, knew nothing of what was being said. He was informed to terminate me because of the elimination of part-time positions. the eveing of the meeting, while the owners were still on premises, before they returned to California, I telephoned and spoke directly with Mike Malik and asked why these matters can't be discussed with the employee that is directly involved, but instead my name has to be slandered in front of a group.
Mike Malik, responded by asking me who reported this information to me, and told me after I revealed that, he would elaborate. I wasn't going to fall into that trap of putting another American job on-the-line to the mismangement of Indian hands.
To anyone thinking of staying at this run-down, mismanaged, Indian owned cess-pool of a hotel...think again, stay somewhere else. They also have property in owned in Alabama, however, I am unclear of the name or location.
