I booked a job over the phone: to paint a 3'x4' mirror frame. I asked for the mirror to be taken to another location and sprayed after being sanded and primed. I was quoted $206.55 for this.
Then yesterday a man showed up saying he was here to hang a 6' long mirror. This is obviously not what I needed, so I turned him away. Would anyone in their right mind agree to pay over $200 to have a mirror hung anyway? No.
When I called today to ask for a refund, I was told I owe 50%. I was only refunded 50%. I was told that next time I should make sure I book the correct job, even though I did.
So I had to pay over $100 to have some mirror hanger drive to my house. The company takes absolutely zero responsibility since some random person technically showed up at my house.
