Fleet Bank ripoff abused & mistreated MA & RI All Scranton Boston Massachusetts
Fleet Bank is treats customers horribly. I went into a branch and closed my savings account and tried to work out why a stop payment hadn't worked in my checking account.
The person in the bank screwed up and made my account unusable. This happened on a Saturday afternoon. I was embarressed to go into a store and get turned down for my Atm/master money card.
This has never happened to me. I tried to call Fleet and they were closed so I emailed them, I got nowhere so I called telephone banking, here is where the worst abusers of consumers work.
I was told by the woman who answered the phone that she was "UNWILLING" to fix the problem and that I could not access my money until I went into the bank to get the problem fixed even though she could have fixed it she was "UNWILLING" this is not atypical for Fleet in fact Fleet has been treating customers this way since they bought out my bank which was Bank Boston.
I have been sworn at by Fleet employees in branches, I have had deposits credited to my account then taken away and I have been charged, this has happpened twice. If anyone is planning a class action Law Suit against Fleet for illegaly holding peoples money or for any other reason please contact me, I would be the first in line to join a class action suit, I have heard there is one being started if anyone knows about it please contact me. Fleet needs to be either put out of business or forced to get their employees to undergo intense training.
These idiot's they have working for them don't even know the basic rules that Fleet has much less the laws that banks MUST abide by. If you are going to open an account I would suggest doing so with any bank other than Fleet. I have had so much anguish and been so abused by this Bank that I am at the end. I am closing all my accounts with them and searching for the group that is filing the class action law suit against them. Don't be scammed by this bank stay as far away as you can and don't open an account with them no matter how much you may need their services, I can gaurantee you will be screwed by them.
