Not true.Fibrosarcomas are not simply caused by a vaccination in the neck and shoulders. It is far more complicated involving what are called adjuvants, and there may be other genetic predisposing causes. They are relatively rare and if identified early can be cured though they have fingerlike projections which make removal with surgery more difficult so radiation may be helpful to reduce the mass first.

I'm really sorry about your cat...but just wanted to say that over the years, I've had many cats/dogs, and have taken them all at one time or the other to the vet. None of them have EVER gotten an injection anywhere other than in the hip. I just find it very strange that your vet gave your cat it's vaccinations, in the neck/shoulder.
