The cost of insulin is out of control thousands upon thousands of diabetics are dying and the government is allowing price gouging on insulin to happen. insulin prices are marked up 5000 percent on killing diabetics and we are dying. The government needs to get involved and stop this price gouging. Eli Lilly is being sued because of the cost that nobody can afford that has diabetes and we are dying this is not fair.
No one with diabetes should die because they can't afford their insulin. I live in Russia, and I've seen a lot of posts of people telling the prices for insulin in US. I'm completely shocked to see this, so, I'd like to show one of the advantages of living in Russia. I use pens which are on top, their price (for 5 pens) is ~$31. At least something is good in Russia...

Eli Lilly insulin manufacturer and others make it so you have to spend an additional $425 on a doctor visit to get a prescription to buy the insulin, so your first bottle of insulin is going to cost you $1,000. This is how corrupt and pathetic the medical system in America is. This is why so many diabetics are dying. you need a prescription for Humalog?
