I reached out to a job post (advertised on a freelancing platform) that's looking for a copywriter. I sent an email to express my interest, and soon I got a reply from the "HR" person of the company.

This email directed me to the Skype profile of Elad Daskal, who's allegedly the CEO.

It read:

Thank you for your email and detailed application.   I'm happy to invite you to a short Skype chat with our CEO.   Please go ahead and send him a contact request at: live:.cid.b130188ded054ea9 OR [email protected]   As he is currently in the process of interviewing many, please make sure to introduce yourself and mention the position you're applying for, so he'll have a reference.   Wishing you the best, and good luck.   Dan, Head of HR

Ecomoneix     Soon, I was chatting with Elad (see pics for the screenshot of the Skype convo). Eventually, he said he wanted to hire me for $7 per product description. But first, I had to write a description for 2 products as a "test". If it went well, he will pay me upfront for 13 more.   I wrote him 2 product decriptions, (sadly, I wasn't able to ask for advance payment) and submitted them to him a few hours after he sent the intructions.

He asked for my PayPal, and said he will pay me later in the evening.    Elad seemed legit to me...I didn't suspect him to be fraud. He was posting the job in several platforms too; check out the search engine results when you type in his company's name on Google. But I have to admit that I shouldve asked for upfront payment for the supposedly paid tests.   However, he has no reason to ghost me and scam me.

I sent him a follow-up message and never got a reply. Even if he was online. I waited for several days for his reply before I decided to publish a report on this site.   No, I didn't pursue him any longer. I had the feeling that i'd just waste my time if I keep asking him to pay.   The job post had been deactivated now.   WARNING: DO NOT entertain and engage with people like Elad Daskal, who managed to make people work for him for free.
