dotedison marketing Unethical withholding of materials paid for Birmingham AL
We write this simply to serve other businesses due to the unprofessional and unethical practices of dotEdison. Our experience with dotedison was the most unprofessional partner relationship we have ever had. Our contractual relationship required dotEdison to provide blogs, marketing material, social media updates and a new website.
The blogs were written at an elementary school grammar level that needed intense proofreading due to numerous spelling and grammar errors. The marketing material had careless flaws of wrong address, incorrect phone numbers, etc. Because of the errors, we were unable to use any of the blogs or marketing material produced.
The website produced was adequate but once dotedison terminated the relationship (due to them sensing our frustration with their work), dotedison pulled our site off the internet. Dotedison has still refused to release the website files that we have paid for which would allow us to get our website back online.
The content produced during our relationship contractually belongs to us. We have a legal notice to them to release to us what is contractually ours and have yet to hear back for over 10 months. We trust they will make the correct/ethical decision and release our files to us.

Because there is no name or business associated with this, it would merely be a guess on the client in reference. We have never acted unprofessional or unethical to our past or current clients. We have always attempted to work to a common amicable separation when needed. We have never had a client UNABLE to use any of our work, this is simply untrue as with any client we have not only approvals but emails of any of our clients expressing gratitude and praise over our work (even the ones who are no longer with us).
We have never pulled a site down out of our frustration and we have never refused to give anyone their website files when requested. This report is simply untrue and we ask that it be taken down. If you need us to provide anything to move forward with this please let us know. Again I cannot speak to any specifics as we have no clue who this client is as no name is listed. All we can assure you of is that the claims in this report are untrue and considered defamation and we ask that it be removed ASAP. Thank you!
